As an Undergraduate Accountant in our Superannuation team, you’ll build your technical accounting skills, whilst you complete your studies.

Our Superannuation team assist clients to navigate the complex and everchanging superannuation landscape. They ensure Self-Managed Superannuation Funds (SMSF) are compliant with all relevant laws and regulations, provide expert advice on investment strategies, help clients understand the tax implications of their superannuation, and ensure they are taking advantage of all available opportunities to maximise their retirement savings and meet their financial goals.
What you’ll do:
As an Undergraduate Accountant at BDO, you can expect to:
Prepare financial statements, annual returns, BAS, IAS, Annual GST Returns and other compliance documents for SMSF clients
Compile information to support the transactions of the SMSF
Identify accounting and compliance issues, ensuring legislative requirements are met
Extract and monitor client’s situation regarding dealings with the ATO
Draft correspondence and communicate with and on behalf of clients.

What you’ll offer:
You will be studying towards an accounting degree or relevant undergraduate or postgraduate CA/CPA eligible degree.
