Vacation Program - Research & Development

About BDO

At BDO Australia, our why is ‘empowering people, realising possibilities’. One way we bring this to life is by hiring and developing exceptional talent, to deliver on our wide array of audit, tax and advisory services.

About the Role

Join BDO as a Vacationer in our Research & Development team in January 2026.

As a Vacationer you’ll see firsthand how our Research & Development (R&D) team help clients access the R&D Tax Incentive by helping to identify eligible R&D activities and calculate eligible R&D expenditure.

You’ll gain an understanding of how we identify research and development activities, advise clients on how to manage state and commonwealth funded grants, review technical documentation to ensure the client meets the funding eligibility criteria, advise clients on best practice systems and processes for data collection, how to comply with laws and regulations, how to respond to requests for information and audits and more!
