Just finished uni and ready to start your journey as an Occupational Therapist? Join our supportive Logan team as a graduate OT.

At Gen Physio, we know transitioning from university to your first allied health role can be a big step. That’s why our Clinical Team has developed a structured graduate program designed to support you from day one. You’ll build confidence, gain hands-on experience, and ease into community practice—at a pace that suits you.

So what is Occupational Therapy at GenPhysio all about?

GenPhysio has the ability to offer our graduate OTs a broad expose to the world of community - from functional capacity assessments and early intervention to home modifications, assistive technology, mental health support, rehabilitation, and even virtual care options -we support our grads to gain experience in multiple areas of their practice and nurture areas of interest as they emerge.

Salary Information:
Base Salary: $80,000
Package incl 12% super: $89,600

How does GenPhysio support our Graduate OTs?

  • A structured 6-week onboarding process: the goal is to help you find your feet as an OT, make great connections with your team and take in all the right information to be set up for success.
  • Gradual progression into the client space – we go at your pace, with built in admin blocks to allow you to review and reflect each week.
  • Supervision - 1:1 weekly Supervision with our in-house experienced team of OT Supervisors: when you need it, for as long as you need it- support in your caseload each step of the way
  • Group discipline specific supervision meetings with the entire Gen Physio OT team in Queensland & Victoria.
  • Regular skills assessments to gradually build your caseload based on your learning/interests 
  • MDT catch ups with your team of fellow OTs, Speechies, Physios, PODs, Dietitians and Exercise Physiologists.
  • Client Services and Client Accounts team to support bookings process while you are shown how to support your own gradual caseload.

What do you need to have?

Tertiary qualifications
AHPRA registration (or eligiblilty)
Drivers license & vehicle
National Police Check, First Aid, and CPR (or willing to obtain) 
Public Indemnity (PI) Insurance with a minimum of $10m cover (or willing to obtain) 
NDIS Workers screening (or willing to obtain) 
Appropriate working rights
