Our Internship Programmes are for students in their penultimate year of study, lasting 10 weeks, and will prepare you to join our Global Graduate Programme the following year. You’ll develop the skills you need to thrive and explore the opportunities that come with working for one of the world’s great international banks.

We use skill-based hiring to look beyond your CV because we know you’re so much more than what you studied. We assess for the qualities that we know will mean you’ll thrive at HSBC – if you can demonstrate those and have a willingness to never stop learning, we’ll teach you the technical stuff.

We encourage you to apply as soon as possible, as we recruit on a rolling basis and may close applications before the advertised date once all vacancies are filled. In person or Virtual Assessment Centres are planned from September to November.

Requirements
- Available to work full time for 10 weeks commencing in June 2026;
- Your graduation date should fall between November 2026 and July 2027;

- Obtained, or expected to achieve, a GPA of at least 4.0 / 5.0 or 3.2 / 4.0 (as appears on your official university transcript or degree certificate), or overseas equivalent to this;
- Be fluent in English;
- We will consider candidates that require visa sponsorship.
