What you’ll do 

From day one, you’ll be part of the action. You’ll work alongside experienced teams, gain real exposure to live deals, and contribute to meaningful work that helps our clients make major business decisions. You’ll learn fast, work hard, and build the foundations for a standout career in investment banking.  

Here’s what you’ll get involved with:  

  • Work as part of a dedicated deal team – Collaborate with colleagues across global banking teams to think smarter and find winning solutions for clients, including corporates, private equity firms and financial institutions. 
  • Join one of our specialist teams – You’ll be placed in either Strategic Advisory, Corporate Finance or Financing Solutions depending on business need and your skills. 
  • Gain hands-on deal experience – Be exposed to live transactions from the start, what you do will contribute to real work that shapes high-profile decisions. 
  • Build and maintain financial models – Help analyse mergers and acquisitions, raising money for companies, and both debt and equity financings through modelling and valuation work. 
  • Create client-facing materials – Support the team in developing pitchbooks, management presentations, and investment materials tailored to each client’s needs. 
  • Apply valuation techniques – Know your stuff with industry-standard valuation methods like discounted cash flow and comparable companies. 
  • Research and analyse market trends – Stay on top of market developments and use your insights to inform presentations and strengthen client relationships. 
  • Support transactions – Help prepare documents, meet clients, conduct research and checks before the deal happens, and support the delivery of deals as they unfold in real time. 
  • Assist with team coordination – Provide support to Senior Bankers by helping manage schedules, meeting prep, and project tracking. 
  • Keep things above board – You’ll learn how to follow regulations and compliance that protect you, the team, and our clients.

Real-world learning

  • You’ll be challenged from the start – yes, the hours can be long, but the learning is fast, and the impact is real. 
  • You’ll learn to work under pressure, juggle competing priorities, and make decisions with confidence. 
  • You’ll also develop the skills to handle highly sensitive, confidential deal information.  

Technical & financial skills

  • Build core banking skills in risk management, compliance, and financial analysis. 
  • Learn how to build financial models and value businesses – skills that are key to analysing deals like mergers and acquisitions. 
  • Learn how to perform leveraged buyout modelling and understand how to evaluate opportunities in loan and credit markets. 
  • Deepen your understanding of how financial markets really operate.  

Professional qualifications 

We’ll support you in gaining industry qualifications depending on your location: 

  • Plus: 2 weeks of residential technical and behavioural training led by external experts

By the end of the programme, you’ll be confident navigating complex financial environments and contributing to deals that matter. 

Requirements

  • Available to work full time from July 2026 onwards
  • Obtained, or expected to achieve, a GPA of at least 4.0 / 5.0 or 3.2 / 4.0 (as appears on your official university transcript or degree certificate), or overseas equivalent to this
  • Recent graduates with less than 2 years of full-time job experience or will have graduated by July 2026
  • Fluent in English
