Are you a mid to final-year HR student in Melbourne who loves organising, supporting people, and getting things done? Do you want a casual role where you can have some fun, be reliable, and really make a difference? If you’re confident, proactive, tech-savvy, and maybe even a bit of a leadership star— you might be exactly who I’m looking for!
About The Company:
Innov8te is a small HR consulting firm dedicated to helping businesses with innovative and tailored solutions. They offer a range of People and Culture related services, including recruitment, strategic planning, leadership development, organisational growth, and change management. Innov8te provides on-demand and outsourced HR services, offering flexible support to help organisations manage their people and growth effectively.
About the Role:
Working mainly from our Camberwell office (with some remote days), you’ll be supporting me — the business owner — with admin, diary management, and a mix of HR and business admin tasks. This isn’t just a typical admin role; I want someone who can help keep me on track, juggle multiple projects, and jump in to help manage customer and stakeholder communications and activities confidently and professionally.
What You’ll Do:
· Keep my schedule organised, manage diaries, and help me stay on top of things
· Support HR tasks like recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, performance management and employee record-management using HR tools
· Handle customer and stakeholder interactions with professionalism and a friendly attitude
· Assist with general admin and business projects
· Be someone who loves organising people, things, and ideas — bringing order and energy
· Help build our social media presence via LinkedIn and Facebook
· Support me with ad hoc tasks and projects as needed
What We’re Looking For:
· Mid to final-year HR or related student in Melbourne
· Someone super organised, loves supporting people and projects, and is adaptable — each week might look a little different!
· Confident, proactive, and able to keep me on track without needing constant direction
· Exceptional communicator with a friendly, professional vibe
· Tech-savvy and great with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Teams) and willingness to learn use of HR tools
· Happy to work up to 2-3 days a week, in-office or as needed
· A flexible, casual role that fits around your uni schedule
· Be exposed to and gain invaluable experience in the HR field to kick start your career
· The chance to work closely with a business owner who values reliability, and initiative
· An environment where your ideas and energy really matter
Please send your CV and a quick note about why you’d be a great fit and your availability to sonia@innov8te.com.au
