QLD PLACEMENT OPPORTUNITIES – SEMESTER 2 STUDY PERIOD 2025 & SUMMER HOLIDAY INTAKE 2025/2026
As an undergraduate in Lucid, you will be provided with 12-weeks of practical, on the job experience within a field aligned with your studies and where possible, to your aspirational career path. Because a career is more than just the job, and that it is vital to develop broader social networks across the organisation. So, within our Lucid Academy group, you will be able to meet and learn from our broader Emerging Professionals as well as develop broader connections with other company members.
We designed our internship program as a transition aid for students in their penultimate, or second-to-last year of studies, but it is open to students from earlier years as well.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
We are on the hunt for Engineering students to join our program, with an opportunity in our Asset Management team in Brisbane. As an Asset Management Intern at Lucid you can expect to gain hands-on experience in Asset Management by assisting in the strategic and systematic approach to helping our clients manage their asset portfolio —such as buildings, infrastructure, and equipment—throughout their entire lifecycle. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals and gain exposure to real-world asset management practices that involves planning, maintaining, optimising, and renewing assets to ensure they perform reliably. Thus, driving performance, reliability, and sustainability across engineering systems. Engineers in Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, and Mechatronics disciplines all play a vital role in using data and technical insight to make informed decisions that balance performance, cost, and risk.
To be eligible to apply, you must be in your penultimate year of study, and studying a degree level qualification in a relevant field (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical , Mechatronics or equivalent).
We offer summer internships that begin in mid to late November / early December (based on your exam schedule) and run until the end of February in a full-time capacity arrangement. We will work within your University's Trimester schedule so you can participate as much as you can during your break.
ABOUT YOU?
We have opportunities to work on Defence projects within our Building Services team. For these opportunities, a Defence Security Clearance is required, applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain the appropriate clearance.
