As a Data Analytics Graduate at RSM, you will have the opportunity to examine large data sets to uncover actionable insights. You will be responsible for collecting, analysing, and interpreting complex data to create predictive models and make data-driven decisions.  In addition, given our practice, we require the data scientists to communicate these findings, relate this to business objectives, solve problems and identify opportunities!

Key responsibilities:

• Delivery of business insights through data visualisation and analytics.
• Use of data analysis to drive business efficiencies.
• Development of data governance and data strategy.
• Engage with clients to understand their issues and gather relevant information.
• Write scripts to clean and extract data, analyse it, and present the findings in a clear and understandable format for managers and clients.

About You:

You’re someone who is curious, analytical and eager to learn. You bring initiative, professionalism and a strong sense of integrity to everything you do. You’ll thrive in this role if you:

• Are studying or have completed a Masters or Doctorate in Statistics, Computer Science, Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, Engineering, Physics, Applied Mathematics, Economics, Operations Research or another quantitative discipline, or have equivalent practical experience
• Communicate clearly and confidently with clients and colleagues
• Are a proactive self‑starter who enjoys collaborating and contributing ideas
• Bring a can‑do attitude and a passion for continuous learning
• Demonstrate curiosity, responsibility and sound judgment
• Adapt well to uncertainty and enjoy tackling unique challenges
• Are inquisitive, eager to learn and open to developing new skills
• Hold Australian Citizenship, Australian Permanent Residency or New Zealand Permanent Residency
