What you will be doing

As a graduate at Sententia you will be working with a some of the most important organisations in the Australian government, and you will be tasked with solving some of their most complex problems. You will be supported from day one by a team of exceptional consultants.

Our graduates are a key part of both internal projects and client engagements. You will be involved in client interviews, analysing and assessing data and documentation and directly delivering work and advice to our clients. You will be supported by an induction program with ongoing mentoring from the Leaders within our business, ensuring you are best prepared for the work we do.

This is achieved through ongoing training and certifications as well as through working with a variety of clients and colleagues with experience across a range of industries. Since our formation, we have experienced remarkable growth. In 2025, we were recognised by the Australian Financial Review as one of the fastest growing starts up in Australia. Building on this momentum, we’ve expanded our reach with the opening of a second office in Melbourne last year.

Eligibility

To be eligible for the program, you must be:

• A new or recent graduate with a degree in any discipline
• Be an Australian Citizen (to be able to secure the relevant security clearances)
• Based in Canberra or willing to relocate

We are passionate about supporting those wanting to grow their careers. We are accepting applications up until the 28th of February 2026 and will be assessing applications on a rolling basis!

Our recruitment process

1. Online application. Click “Apply” to submit your CV and academic transcript (unofficial transcripts are accepted). Include a business letter - showcase your skills, experiences, and why you would like to work with us.
2. If your application stands out, we’ll reach out to arrange an initial conversation. This is an opportunity for us to get to know each other better and discuss your potential fit within our team. Interviews can be conducted virtually if needed.
3. Shortlisted candidates will be invited to participate in an assessment centre. This is a chance to demonstrate your problem-solving abilities, communication skills, and teamwork in a collaborative setting.
4. Job Offer. If you are successful, we’ll extend you an offer of employment. 
5. What does a start date look like? As soon as you are ready to go - that could be now, or a little way down the track. We are flexible and will work with you to decide your transition in.
