Our Protected Vehicles team works closely with clients to design, manufacture, maintain and upgrade protected vehicles that keep people safe, all around the world. Our state-of-the-art workshops are set up to help us deliver Hawkei and Bushmaster military vehicles to strict defence standards – and set our people on rewarding career paths.

Our Graduate Program focuses on developing early career talent to help us deliver tomorrows high-tech solutions. Over an 18-month development program you will engage in on-the-job training, mentoring, a graduate project and structured learning modules.

ABOUT THE ROLE 

• Support the design and development and validate components and systems for our defence vehicles.
• Interpret our customer requirements and provide design solutions which includes engineering analysis and investigation.
• Conduct prototyping, trials and demonstrations of solutions.
• Undertake learning and training activities to develop skills and experience as a graduate engineer.

ABOUT YOU

• Recent degree qualification in mechatronics, electrical, mechanical, aerospace or automotive engineering
• Any experience in a design or manufacturing environment would be regarded highly
• You are an engineering enthusiast!
• Leadership experience demonstrated through previous employment or extra-curricular activities whilst studying university
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to work within a team

• Self-motivated, curious and desire to continuously learn.

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY

A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance.

In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role.
