Graduate Security Analyst

ABOUT THE ROLE

  • Support end‑to‑end identity and access management work across Identity Management, Identity Governance, and Access Management
  • Assist with implementing and configuring identity platforms, including federation, Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and directory integrations.
  • Help design strategies, roadmaps, and solution architectures for identity programs.
  • Participate in workshops to gather requirements and document all state processes.
  • Troubleshoot authentication and authorisation issues and support system and UAT testing.
  • Contribute to reusable templates, best‑practice assets and documentation across the Digital Identity team.

ABOUT YOU

  • Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, Computer Science, or related discipline (graduated by end of 2026).
  • Strong communicator who can explain technical concepts clearly to different audiences.
  • Organised, detail‑oriented and comfortable solving problems across multiple workstreams.
  • Shows initiative through internships, projects, leadership or extracurricular activities.
  • Collaborative team player who enjoys structured delivery and large transformation programs.
  • Motivated to build expertise in Digital Identity and grow into a trusted security professional.

AUSTRALIAN DEFENCE ROLES & SECURITY

A Defence security clearance is required for this role. Applicants must be Australian citizens and eligible to obtain and maintain a clearance.

Additional information with regards to clearances is available from the Australian Government Security Vetting Agency website http://www.defence.gov.au/AGSVA/. In some cases, individuals who hold a current clearance from a foreign government may be eligible to have this clearance recognised by the Australian Government and be eligible for this role. The Australian Defence Trade Controls Act (DTCA) is applicable and as such, your nationality may be a factor in determining your suitability for this role.
