About Alinta Energy
At Alinta Energy, we’re taking real action to deliver affordable, reliable and sustainable energy for Australia. You’ll work on challenges that matter, alongside people who are approachable, supportive and invested in your growth, in a business where your contribution is visible from day one.
Big careers start with real experience
Ready to step into a role where you’re out in the field, engaging with communities and contributing to projects that shape Australia’s energy future? Kick-start your career in community engagement in an industry that’s evolving fast and plays a critical role in the transition to a lower-carbon future.
As a Community Engagement Graduate, you’ll join our Power Development team in a permanent role from day one, gaining hands-on experience supporting stakeholder and community engagement across a national portfolio of projects.
You’ll work across projects at different stages, building capability in engagement strategy, stakeholder management and project delivery. Over two years, you’ll develop a well-rounded skillset with exposure to communications, policy and broader development functions, while remaining embedded in your home team.
Your graduate journey begins with an induction week, bringing your cohort together in Melbourne to meet each other, pull on some hi vis to explore our Melbourne sites, and listen in on real customer calls at our contact centre.
