Who we are

We're on a mission to become the most customer-centric company in Australia. For us, this means growing a team of talented colleagues who are proud to be part of NAB and put our customers at the heart of everything we do.

Our mission and values guide how we operate and who we hire.

Our Who we are behaviours are:

  • We’re customer obsessed – We put our customers at the centre of everything we do. Without them, there would be no NAB.
  • We keep it simple – We make things simple for colleagues so we can be exceptional for our customers.
  • We move with speed – We innovate and look for better ways to deliver. If we make mistakes, we learn and correct as we go.
  • We own it – We never say “that's not my job”. We take ownership and follow up until it's resolved.
  • We win together – We bring the right people together, knowing diverse ideas achieve more.

Application Process

Application process and required documents

To apply for any of our programs, visit NAB Graduate Jobs (373 jobs available now!) - GradConnection

You'll need to complete an application form. This is where you'll get the chance to tell us about who you are, your skills and your experience. You'll also need to nominate your chosen business area.

Once you have submitted your online application, successful candidates will then go through the following steps:

  1. Online Assessment

a variety of online assessments to identify your capabilities and understand how you work.

  2. The Video Interview

this is where we get to know you better. We’ll ask you a few questions and you’ll record your responses.

  3. The Engagement Centre (in person and online)

our final stage of recruitment which gives you the opportunity to demonstrate your skills by participating in a range of interactive activities.

Do your research. Understand the business area you've applied for and why you're interested in a career at NAB. You can't change your mind after submitting your online application or starting the program, so please choose carefully.

You'll also need to upload:

  • a copy of your undergraduate academic transcript (non-certified transcript is fine. We use this to confirm your degree discipline and areas of study)
  • a copy of your postgraduate results if you've completed postgraduate study

We don't look at your GPA/WAM, your transcript is a useful reference to confirm degree discipline or major.
