Tim Lau
2025 Management Trainee
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management and Analytics
I have been growing with SFSC since July 2025, first as an intern and now as a Management Trainee. It has been an amazing experience, spanning from frontline operation to behind-the-scenes management.
One of the most valuable parts of this role is interacting with customers from different backgrounds and industries. Throughout communication, I have gained a better understanding of customers’ actual needs as well as industries’ standards and requirements for warehousing.
The Management Trainee program provides a hybrid learning experience. On the physical side, you will step into frontliners’ shoes to truly understand how operations run and identify bottleneck, allowing you to provide corresponding Kaizen to maximize safety and efficiency. On the management side, you get to learn on managing every aspect of a warehouse, such as space utilization, manpower allocation etc. Balancing both frontline and office work has given me a comprehensive picture of how everything connects and how teamwork plays a key role in making sure things run smoothly.
Most importantly, SFSC offers a supportive environment and collaborative culture, which has helped me to express, improve myself and contribute better to the team.
I am very grateful to be a part of SFSC and I look forward to welcoming more people to join our company. SFSC delivers a great platform for learning, growth, and career development, and I believe future team members will find this workplace both challenging and rewarding.

Henry Lee
2024 Management Trainee
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
My Management Trainee journey at SF Supply Chain has been a fruitful and enriching experience. Throughout the program, I was given numerous opportunities to explore different roles and take part in a wide range of projects, working closely with colleagues from diverse teams and professional backgrounds. This exposure not only broadened my understanding of the business but also strengthened my ability to collaborate effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Beyond work, the program also emphasises holistic development. I had the chance to participate in various meaningful activities, such as volunteer services that allowed us to deliver care to the elderly, as well as corporate challenges that fostered teamwork, resilience, and strong bonds among colleagues. These experiences enriched my journey and reinforced the importance of social responsibility and teamwork.
From a professional perspective, the rotational structure of the Management Trainee program is particularly valuable. It enabled me to gain hands-on exposure to multiple aspects of the supply chain, ranging from warehouse operations to data analysis and reporting. I also had opportunities to participate in digital and AI-related initiatives, applying technology to practical work scenarios. Through these experiences, I learned how to develop and deliver tailored solutions to clients, ensuring their supply chain needs are effectively met while balancing operational efficiency and innovation.

2023 Management Trainee
Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management
Joining SFSC's Management Trainee Programme in 2023 has been a transformative journey of growth and hands-on learning. Over the past two years, I have benefited from comprehensive training resources and practical rotations that have shaped my development as a future operations leader.
My first 18 months were spent in the Operations team, rotating across different warehouse sites to master the fundamentals of warehouse operations. This solid foundation has been instrumental in preparing me for a future role as an Operations Manager. Following this, I completed six-month rotations across different supporting teams. These supporting functions gave me invaluable insight into how specialised departments collaborate to optimise operational efficiency.
In my final six months, I returned to the warehouse to apply my accumulated knowledge to process enhancement projects, driving sustainable improvements on the ground.
Beyond professional development, the MT programme has connected me with a vibrant community of fellow trainees. Through joint training sessions and outdoor activities, we have built lasting friendships and a strong support network that continuously inspires personal and professional growth.
SFSC's MT Programme offers far more than technical training—it opens doors to a diverse network and empowers me to build a rewarding career in logistics.
