A typical day for me is varied and dynamic, supporting senior staff with a range of tasks, from project planning to data analysis. I’ve been able to develop technical skills across software tools like Visio, Power BI, and Primavera P6, which have enhanced the way I analyze information, manage projects, and present insights effectively. The hands-on experience has been invaluable in building both technical expertise and professional confidence.

The ElevateU Program was an excellent introduction to TBH. Beyond learning about the company’s history, values, and strategy, it provided the chance to meet graduates from across Australia, creating a sense of community from the start. Sessions led by senior leaders were particularly inspiring, and participating in the company’s anniversary celebrations highlighted TBH’s commitment to its people and culture.

I began my journey at TBH as a Graduate Analyst following the completion of my Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) in Civil Engineering. What attracted me to TBH was the chance to work across a wide variety of industries and service areas early in my career. I wanted a role that balanced developing technical skills with growth in communication, problem-solving, and client engagement. What really set TBH apart was the supportive culture—mentors, directors, and colleagues are approachable, collaborative, and genuinely invested in helping you succeed.

A typical day as an Analyst is a mix of structured tasks and dynamic client-facing work. Mornings often start with meetings to align priorities and understand client needs, followed by focused time on deliverables such as reporting, data analysis, or developing Power BI dashboards. Throughout the week, I collaborate with both TBH colleagues and clients on project planning, programme reviews, and problem-solving, applying technical skills while contributing directly to project outcomes.

One of my proudest moments at TBH has been learning to embrace feedback and mistakes as opportunities for growth. Early in my career, I wasn’t naturally comfortable with constructive feedback, but through TBH’s supportive environment, I’ve learned to reflect, adjust, and improve. Another highlight was troubleshooting and resolving complex DAX code errors in Power BI—a tool I had never used before—which gave me a real sense of accomplishment and confidence in tackling unfamiliar technical challenges.

The ElevateU two-week induction program was an engaging and hands-on introduction to TBH. It provided insight into the company’s values, services, and project approaches, while also fostering connections with fellow graduates and colleagues. The program gave me confidence from day one, helping me understand not just what to do, but why it matters, and highlighted the supportive culture that permeates the company.

I joined TBH as a Consultant after completing a Bachelor of Construction (Management and Property) at the University of New South Wales and a Master of Building Performance and Sustainability at the National University of Singapore. Since starting, my experience at TBH has been supportive, informative, and focused on continuous learning, giving me the opportunity to grow across different aspects of project work.

I was initially attracted to TBH because of its consultancy model, which spans multiple industries and offers exposure to a diverse range of projects. What stood out most was the chance for job rotation across service areas, the structured learning through mentoring and the ElevateU program, and the genuinely positive, inclusive work culture.

A typical day for me as a Consultant starts with a quick catch-up with my Project Manager to plan the day, followed by project work, problem-solving, and seeking guidance when roadblocks arise. This structure has allowed me to build my confidence, learn from colleagues, and contribute meaningfully to client projects. One of my proudest moments so far was collaborating with my Project Manager to deliver a completely new report with no prior examples. The report was successful and is now being used as a benchmark for future projects.

From the outset, I was drawn to TBH because of its strong reputation, hands-on approach, and the chance to work on high-impact projects across a variety of industries. What stood out to me most was the structured development pathway, the mentoring program, and the collaborative environment where everyone—from consultants to directors—is accessible and willing to support graduates.

A typical day for me as an Analyst starts with a coffee run with colleagues, followed by work assigned by Project Managers, including Program Analysis, constructing reports, and updating project schedules. I often collaborate with a second point of contact when my PM is occupied, ensuring deadlines are met efficiently. Lunches with colleagues often include catching up and playing pool to recharge before returning to project tasks. Being involved in real projects has helped me appreciate how schedules, reports, and deliverables fit into the broader context of project management, and has strengthened my attention to detail, accuracy, communication, and time management skills.

One of my proudest moments at TBH was improving my time management and delivering a Program Analysis ahead of its deadline for the first time—a milestone that reflected the feedback I had been working on and allowed me to see tangible progress in my professional growth.
