Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

We take mental health seriously and consider this to be a shared responsibility between Evolution and our workforce when it comes to the workplace. During FY24, we continued to encourage our people to speak up or seek help through various channels, while monitoring trends in society, communities or our workforce.

We regularly promote the importance of mental health throughout the year by: • Supporting community events including R U OK? Day, the Lifeline Ball, Mental Health Month, Movember, STEPtember, the Push-Up Challenge; and

• Engaging doctors, psychologists and specialists to run information sessions on mental health awareness with our workforce and in our communities

We provide access to a free, professional and confidential counselling service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for you and your immediate family members. 

EAP can be used for personal and work-related issues and is designed to provide short-term assistance. We partner with PeopleSense as our EAP provider. PeopleSense provide highly qualified & professional psychologists / counsellors.

70:20:10 Learning Model

A two year structured development program aligned to the 70:20:10 learning model, to set you up for success at Evolution Mining, incorporating:

  • 70% of learning is on-the-job exposure to new and challenging experiences
  • 20% of learning is through a support network and learning from peers, coaches and mentors
  • 10% of learning is through workshops and webinars

Structured Professional Development

Professional and personal development in alignment with our graduate competencies through a dynamic orientation experience, face-to-face workshops and webinars across the two years.

Strong Support Network

An extensive support network who are ready to guide you through all stages of your development in the form of a rotation manager, a stream leader, senior mentor, buddy and graduate program team.
